Product introduction: 

Aluminum wire refers to its longitudinal full length, and the uniform cross-section refers to a metal wire-shaped material made of pure aluminum or aluminum alloy. The products are processed by pressure around the heart and delivered in rolls. The cross-sectional shapes are circle, ellipse, square, rectangle, equilateral triangle and regular polygon, etc. According to the material, it is divided into pure aluminum wire and alloy aluminum wire. According to the use, it is divided into industrial aluminum wire and process aluminum wire. Aluminum wire can be divided into: pure aluminum wire, alloy aluminum wire, 1100 aluminum wire, 1070 aluminum wire, 1060 aluminum wire, 5050 aluminum wire, 50506 aluminum wire, Jinchuan aluminum wire. (1) Most of the copper clad aluminum wires are produced by the internationally advanced cladding welding process. The copper layer is made of high-purity refined copper with high density and good electrical conductivity, which realizes metallurgical bonding with the aluminum core wire, and has good adhesion; the copper layer is uniformly distributed along the circumferential direction and longitudinal direction, and has good concentricity. The standard stipulates that the thinnest point of the copper layer along the circumferential direction should not be less than 3.5% of the wire radius for 10A and 10H wires; for 15A and 15H wires, it should not be less than 5.0% of the wire radius;

(2) Under the condition of the same quality and diameter, the length ratio of copper-clad aluminum wire and pure copper wire is 2.45:1 ~ 2.68:1, which greatly reduces the cost of cable production;

(3) Copper-clad aluminum wire is more malleable than pure copper wire, and does not generate insulating oxides like aluminum, so it is easier to process;

(4)The copper-clad aluminum wire is light in weight and convenient for transportation, installation and construction. It must be pointed out that since the mechanical properties of copper-clad aluminum wire and pure copper wire are not exactly the same, attention should be paid during engineering construction, and experience in use should be accumulated continuously

The proportion of the copper layer area on the cross section of the copper-clad aluminum wire is called the "copper layer volume ratio". According to the volume ratio of copper layer, copper clad aluminum wire can be divided into:

a. The volume of the copper layer accounts for 8% to 12% and is represented by 10%;

b. The volume of the copper layer accounts for 13% to 17% with 15%.

Copper clad aluminum wire can be divided into:

a. Retains the hard conductor in the work-hardened state during drawing;

b. Soft conductors in which work hardening is eliminated by annealing.

It is used for processing parts and components that require good formability, high corrosion resistance and good weldability, or work that requires both these properties and higher strength than 1XXX series alloys, such as kitchenware, food and chemical products handling and Storage devices, tanks and tanks for transporting liquid products, various pressure vessels and pipes processed with thin plates, general utensils, heat sinks, cosmetic plates, photocopier rollers, and ship materials.
